Easy Kendama Tricks
Kendama can be difficult to learn in the beginning so try these tricks first as they are easy to learn. when just starting out you may be looking for easy trick that you can have fun learn. Below is a list of easy kendama tricks to perform, from a beginners perspective.
Big Cup
Big cup is one of the fist tricks you will learn in kendama and is an essential trick that you will see often in combination with other tricks.

Small cup
Small cup is just like the big cup only a bit smaller. It will be more difficult to land the tama in the smaller cup so it can take some practice!

Bottom Cup
Bottom cup is like all of the other cups just a but smaller and more difficult to catch than than the small cup, bottom cup is also in many combination tricks and important to learn first.
Penguin Catch
Penguin catch is the same trick as base cup however the kendama is held in a different grip when cathing the base cup. penguin catch is a trick you should learn early on as it ties into many other tricks and comobos.

Spike
Spike is more difficult to perform than the pervious tricks as it requires you to have more percision and aim with your kendama. spike is an easy concept to learn and i am sure you will be spiking like a pro in no time!!

Orbit
orbit is similar to the the big cup and small cup however it involves tossing the ball up and cathing it again in the same cup, so this trick will really help with your hand eye corrordantion skills.

Candle Stick
Candle stick is essentially the same trick as bottom cup but instead of holding the kendama by the handle you hold it by the spike, this is slightly more difficcult than base cup because it requires the player to be more precise.

Airplane
airplane seems like it may be difficult trick at first glance however it is quite easy to perform. after you learn the simple swinging and pull motion of the kendama you the trick just easily fall into place!

Gunslinger Kendama Trick
This kendama trick is called gunslinger because you swing the kendama around your two fingers in circular motion juts like a gunslinger would with his pistol in a cartoon. it is a relatively simple and easy to learn trick for beginners.

Zero Gravity
Zero Gravity is a fun kendama trick, to complete it you have to keep the tama in the bottom cup while spinning it in a full loop[ in the air. this trick leverages centrifugal force similar to how a water stays in the bottom of a bucket when you spin it in circles fast enough and go upside down.

Fun House
Fun house is an extremely easy kendama trick to learn. it combines a little of yoyo style play with kendama for a cool trapeze finish.
